EuCAP 2013 - Göteborg Awards
Four awards will be given, in the areas of Measurement, Propagation, Antenna theory and Antenna design. The organizing committee will select the finalists by the in each category based on two criteria:
- the recommendations of the reviewers or the conveners (convened session)
- the quality of the full-length paper. Thus, short abstract will not be considered for this award.
ESoA-EuCAP 2013 - Göteborg Student Awards
These awards are recognizing the best oral paper presented by a student. To be eligible, the (first) author must:
- Be a PhD student or having obtained the PhD in 2013
- Be under 35 years of age
- Be registered at EuCAP
- Personally present the paper at EuCAP
- Be present at the EuCAP closing ceremony session
Moreover, only one co-author can be over the age of 35, and the final submission must have the full paper format.
To submit their paper to the student contest, the author should check the appropriate box in the electronic submission web page (EDAS). By doing this, the authors automatically certify they accomplish with the eligibility rules.
The ESoA-EuCAP student award committee will select the up to 10 best full papers to be presented in an ESoA-Award Special Session. A jury composed by 5 persons will rank the presentations and combine with the results of the award committee on the written papers for an overall ranking. The best-ranked paper(s) will be the winners.
EURAAP Award 2013
Nominations are solicited for the 2013 EURAAP Awards. This award aims at recognising the contribution of an individual person to:
- Advances in Antennas & Propagation
- Education in the fields of Antennas & Propagation
- Coordination of research & networking activities in Europe or in relationship to Europe
Nominations have to be made before October 31st, 2012 using the official form, which can be downloaded here.

EuCAP2013 Travel Grants
These will be awarded to authors of high quality papers from developing countries, who are not able to pay the conference fee.
- The grants mean free entrance at the EuCAP conference (other services must be paid)
- The request for grant application has to arrive spontaneously by email till January 31th 2013 (prior to applicant's registration but after the full paper submission).
- The applicant has to send electronic copy of the full paper and CV including the list of publications to: Profs. Anja Skrivervik and Stefano Maci (anja.skrivervik@epfl.ch and macis@ing.unisi.it)
- By the end of January the applications will be ranked and the grant will be assigned by the Grants Jury (Profs. Maci, Skrivervik, Mosig, Kildal)
- The applicants will be informed by email to wait with registration until the 15th of February, when the grants will be assigned
- The registration team will send the discount codes to the winners in order to allow their free registration
